Information PingRev Handles
When you connect a WooCommerce store, PingRev may access order information from that store, including order totals, refund amounts, product names, order status, customer email, customer phone, and billing address details. This information is shown inside the app so you can monitor your store.
PingRev also stores the WooCommerce consumer key and secret approved through the WooCommerce authorization flow. These credentials are stored on your device using iOS Keychain.
Optional Order Alerts
If you enable order alerts, PingRev may send your Apple Push Notification service device token and connected store domain to the PingRev backend so the backend can route push notifications for new orders.
When a store is connected for dashboard metrics and instant alerts, PingRev may use the WooCommerce approval to create an order webhook. The PingRev backend stores webhook metadata and a webhook verification secret for that store. The backend does not keep the read/write WooCommerce API key after webhook setup.
How Information Is Used
PingRev uses connected store data to show dashboard metrics, order lists, store details, refunds, and sync status. PingRev uses notification data only to send order alerts when you enable that feature.
PingRev does not sell personal information. PingRev does not use third-party advertising trackers.
Storage And Security
WooCommerce API credentials are stored locally in iOS Keychain. Non-sensitive preferences, such as onboarding completion and notification settings, may be stored in app preferences.
The PingRev backend may temporarily store WooCommerce connection-session data while you approve a store connection. Connected sessions are deleted after the app retrieves the approved credentials. Alert setup sessions are deleted after webhook setup completes or fails.
Data Sharing
PingRev communicates with your connected WooCommerce store, the PingRev backend, and Apple Push Notification service when order alerts are enabled. PingRev does not share your data with advertisers.
Your Choices
You can remove a connected store from PingRev to delete the locally stored WooCommerce credentials from the app. You can turn off order alerts in the app or in iOS notification settings.
